Early Intervention Program (EI)
The Early Intervention Program is funded by the New York State Department of Health and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Early Intervention plays a crucial role in supporting the development of children under the age of 3 who may be at risk for developmental delays or disabilities. Early intervention program provides a range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of each child and their family. At no cost to families, it not only ensures that individuals receive the support they need to thrive but also helps in identifying potential issues early, leading to better outcomes in the long run. These services can include developmental evaluations, SLP, OT, PT, SI, ABA services, and support for parents to enhance their ability to support their child's development. By identifying and addressing developmental delays or disabilities early, children can receive the support they need to reach their full potential.
If you would like to refer your child to the program or have any questions, feel free to reach out to the EI Supervisor, who can assist you.
